I was then your pulse, your life and your fruit -
A seed in your womb; was nurtured, was loved
A mistake of young age, right hearts, wrong thoughts.
Regretted their fault but held on, stood strong.
A union of one life, one blood, one root -
Result was I - destined to live in lies.
Delighted were they; for me its disgrace
to be purely bred that causes me fame.
As I grow and dawn in this sinful world,
Cheers from their lips to my deafened young ears.
Battle of joy and shame, in my domain
Even Death can’t halt this unending war.
In the minds and mouths of those who know me;
Sets my tomb, holds my casket, lies my corpse.
But not even the Ripper knows my time.
Still punishes me for their sins; not mine.
Pityingly languished, alone through years.
Banished myself to a weird wicked world,
Imprisoned my body, my mind, my soul;
But You showed the way and freed me my Lord.
